The theme of _List Vol. 19 is “Children’s Non-Fiction Picture Books.” Under the four subthemes “New Horizon of Children’s Book Illustrations,” “A Different Aspect of Children’s Non-Fiction Picture Books,” “Children Growing with Non-Fiction Picture Books,” and “Seeing Again and Anew,” this issue sheds light on the world of children’s nonfiction picture books, which has now come under the spotlight. In addition, this issue features interviews with writer Jung Young Moon and cartoonist Lee Woo-il, Korean publishing trends, coverage of the acceptance of Korean literature overseas, a spotlight on a literary site, book reviews of fiction/nonfiction/children’s literature, and the translation of Youn Dae-Nyeong’s short story “The Walk of Light" (from Many Stars Drifted to One Place, 2010) and introduces steady sellers, publishers, and trends in Korean literature to overseas readers.
