KLN is published and distributed for the purpose of generating a discourse on Korean literature and introducing Korean writers and works to general readers and experts overseas. KLN Vol. 49 contains an interview with Kim Choyeop, a rising star in the field of Korean SF literature. In the interview, Kim talks about what prompted her to start writing fiction, her favorite writers and works, what she writes about, and her take on the new normal in the wake of Covid-19.

한국문학 및 한국작가 등을 해외 일반인 및 전문가들에게 소개하고 한국문학에 대한 담론을 형성시키고자 제작, 배포하고 있는 KLN의 49호에서는 한국 과학문학소설 분야에서 주목받고 있는 김초엽 작가를 만나서 인터뷰를 했다. 인터뷰를 통하여 작가가 소설을 쓰게 된 동기, 좋아하는 작가 및 작품, 작품 집필 시 생각하는 것 등에 대하여 들어보았으며, 최근 코로나19 바이러스에 제한된 일상생활에 대한 작가의 생각도 들어보았다.
