The 50th issue of Korean Literature Now (KLN), a magazine that aims to introduce Korean writers and literature to readers and the publishing industries all around the world, was designed as a special issue. As a part of the special issue, a Korean writer and a translator wrote essays, detailing the processes of translation and publication of a Korean novel. This is an essay written by writer Pyun Hye-young, who worked with translator Sora Kim-Russell.
