This is the full text of the English translation of Chung So-hyun’s short story “A Good Girl Like You” in the Bookmark section of KLN Vol. 59. In this story, the protagonist’s daughter Seo-ah is accused of bullying a classmate, and the protagonist comes to face a side of her daughter she’d ignored for years. It bitterly reflects on the gender role of women who are criticized for childrearing, along with the dynamics of victimization and perpetration, from a first-person perspective.
