The theme of KLN Vol. 59 is “Deaths Forgotten, Names Erased.” In the cover feature essays, four literary critics and poets discuss Korean literature that reflects on the place of mourning and loss. This issue’s Featured Writer section includes an interview with Kim Yeonsu, the full text of his short story “A Future as Ordinary As This,” and an essay on Kim’s world of works by Cho Yeonjung. Moreover, the Bookmark section features the English translations of Kim Ji Yeon’s “When I Start Weeping,” Chung So-hyun’s “A Good Girl Like You,” four poems by Eins Hwang and An Taewoon, as well as The Story of Jeon Unchi.

KLN 59호의 주제는 '잊혀진 죽음들, 지워진 이름들'이다. 문학 비평가와 시인으로 이뤄진 4인의 담론 에세이는 애도와 상실의 자리를 반영하는 한국문학을 논한다. 특집 작가 소설가 김연수의 인터뷰, 단편소설 <이토록 평범한 미래> 전문 영역본과 조연정 평론가의 작가론 에세이를 만나볼 수 있으며, 작품 게재 코너를 통해 김지연 작가의 <내가 울기 시작할 때>, 정소현 작가의 <너같이 착한 아이> 그리고 황인숙, 안태운 시인의 시 4편과 고전문학 <전우치전>의 영문 번역본을 소개하고 있다.
