KLN Vol. 61’s Bookmark section features the full-text translation and illustration of writer Kim Eugene’s “Circle of Light.” When Jeong-woo, a friend Sumin made during her study abroad in France, comes to Korea, Sumin goes on a trip with her to Gyeongju. There, she runs into her ex-husband Suchan. This short story unravels the story of repeating connections and relationships by making a shrewd contrast between the times and spaces of France and Gyeongju.

KLN 61호 북마크 김유진 작가의 <빛의 자리> 영문 번역 전문과 관련 일러스트다. “수민”은 프랑스 유학 시절을 같이 보낸 “정우 언니”가 오랜만에 귀국하여 함께 경주 여행을 하다 우연히 수민의 전남편 “수찬”을 마주하게 된다. 이 소설은 인연의 반복성에 대한 이야기를 프랑스와 경주의 시공간을 기민하게 대조하며 풀어나가고 있다.
