The 50th issue of Korean Literature Now (KLN), a magazine that aims to introduce Korean writers and literature to readers and the publishing industries all around the world, was designed as a special issue. As a part of the special issue, we met with a total of five writers who also translate works of other writers to hear about their thoughts as writers and as translators. Among the five, this is an interview with writer/translator Bae Suah.

한국문학 및 한국작가 등을 해외 일반인 및 전문가들에게 소개하고 한국문학에 대한 담론을 형성시키고자 제작, 배포하고 있는 KLN의 50호는 특집호로 제작되었다. 그 일환으로 창작활동을 하면서 다른 작가의 작품을 번역도 하는 작가 겸 번역가로서 활동하는 총 다섯분을 만나 작가로서 그리고 번역가로서의 생각을 들어본다. 그 중 배수아 작가(번역가)의 인터뷰 내용이다.
