The theme of KLN Vol. 65 is “A Day in the Life of a Seoulite.” In the Cover Feature essays, a writer, a novelist, and an essayist discuss the issue’s theme. The Featured Writer section presents an interview with the featured writer Son Bo-mi, her short story “The Substitute Teacher,” and a critical essay on her artistic world. The Bookmark section features the short stories “Dear My Bias” by Ryu Si-eun and “Method of Mourning” by An Boyun, as well as two poems each by Ko Sunkyung and Im Yu Young. This issue also introduces an excerpt of Record of the Virtue of Queen Inhyeon, Lady Min in English. Lastly, a team of reviewers consisting of critics, writers, translators, and an editor have written reviews of five books: Dawn of Labor by Park Nohae, Counterattacks at Thirty by Won-Pyung Sohn, The Old Woman with the Knife by Gu Byeong-mo, Veda (Farewell) by Kim Young-ha, and To the Warm Horizon by Choi Jin-Young.

KLN 65호의 주제는 '서울, 도시 생활자'이다. 담론 에세이는 작가, 소설가, 수필가가 주제와 관련해 논한다. 특집 작가 소설가 손보미의 인터뷰, 소설 <임시교사>와 작가론 에세이를 만나볼 수 있다. 작품 개제 코너는 류시은 소설가의 <나의 최애에게>, 안보윤 소설가의 <애도의 방식> 소설 각 1편과 고선경, 임유영 시인의 시 각 2편, 고전문학 <인현황후전>의 영문 번역번을 소개하고 있다. 평론가, 작가, 번역가, 편집자로 이루어진 집필진이 북리뷰를 작성했다. 박노해 <노동의 새벽>, 손원평 <서른의 반격>, 구병모 <파과>, 김영하 <작별인사>, 최진영 <해가 지는 곳으로> 리뷰 5편이 수록됐다.
