The 50th issue of Korean Literature Now (KLN), a magazine that aims to introduce Korean writers and literature to readers and the publishing industries all around the world, was designed as a special issue. As a part of the special issue, a conversation of questions and answers between a Korean writer and a foreign writer was published. This piece consists of questions asked by Korean writer Park Sang Young and replies answered by foreign writer Alexander Chee.

한국문학 및 한국작가 등을 해외 일반인 및 전문가들에게 소개하고 한국문학에 대한 담론을 형성시키고자 제작, 배포하고 있는 KLN의 50호는 특집호로 제작되었다. 그 일환으로 국내작가와 해외작가가 서로에게 질문하고 대답하는 형태의 대담을 게재하였다. 이 글은 한국의 박상영 작가가 질문하고 해외작가인 알렉산더 치가 대답한 것이다.
