These sourcebooks were planned and produced to enhance the overall understanding of overseas Korean literature and to expand the territory of literary enjoyment. A total of 16 overseas Korean literature researchers focusing on the Americas, Japan, Russia-Central Asia, and China participated as writers, covering a wide range of topics from the formation process of overseas Korean literature to current status and prospects by region. The volume on Korean Literature in China examines the long history of Korean-Chinese literature, where Koreans who have pioneered and rebuilt their lives in Manchuria reveal both their identity as a minority ethnic group in China and their national identity as Korean people. Koo Jae-jin (Semyung University), Kim Hyeong-gyu (Ajou University), Yoon Eui-Seob (Daejeon University), Lee Milim (Gangneung-Wonju National University)
