 This book is about a coming of age of a young woman trapped in a war-torn city of Seoul with her family in the 1950s. It’s an educational and a fascinating read about the Korean War. Not much information is available on what happened in Seoul during the war, so this autobiographical novel allows a rare glimpse of what the civilians went through during this time.
