《南边的人北边的人》作者李浩哲，是当今韩国文坛的巨匠，是继金东里，黄顺元等著名作家之后的当代韩国纯文学代表作家之一。李浩哲出生在朝鲜，1950年朝鲜战争爆发后加入了人民军，并随军南下，9月人民军后退，途中被俘，以后他来到釜山避难，一直生活至今。李浩哲创作过许多中长篇小六，并获得过不少大奖，同时本人也获得过许多荣誉。《南边的人北边的人》曾获得韩国艺术院奖和大山文学奖，并被译成英法德日波兰西班牙文等多种文字。这部作品受到世界各国的重视，关键在于它的内容涉及朝鲜半岛的南北对峙问题。全书由相对独立而又浑然一体的五个篇章组成，其背景就是作者在朝鲜战争中被俘的三个月时间里发生的各种故事。朝鲜半岛的南北方由于体制和意识形态不同，因而南北方的人在遇到相同情况时，思考的角度，处理的方式和产生的后果也截然不同。然而，渴望祖国统一，亲人早日团聚的愿望始终是一致的。作品客观地描写了南方人和北方人的思想感情和南北方社会的状况。   Source: http://book.douban.com/subject/1143618/

Pèsent sur tout cela l'absurde rigidité du vocabulaire communiste, l'autocritique, le danger bien réel d'être dénoncé comme " bourgeois " ou " impérialiste ". Le héros est un simple témoin, qui raconte avec exactitude et simplicité ses conversations, ses réflexions. Cependant, le jeune Ho-Chul Lee - " déjà à l'époque existait en moi ce qu'on appelle la littérature ", confie-t-il d'ailleurs - a le talent d'écrivain qui transforme ce récit en grand livre. Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War, when he was eighteen, Lee Ho-Chul was drafted into the North Korean army. Southerners, Northerners (Namny k saram pungny k saram) is a fictionalized account of his inglorious yet dramatic experiences as a raw recruit and, soon afterward, as a prisoner of war. Beginning with some fascinating vignettes of North Korean high school life and ending with a narrow escape from death, the story offers a unique perspective on the early phases of the war and its everyday realities, from the tragic to the farcical.But Southerners, Northerners is far more than a war memoir. The author?s encounters with men from South Korea, first as volunteers in the North Korean army and later as military police and guards, provoke a searching examination of the difference in ethos that had already emerged between the two Koreas. Moreover, the events of the story constantly spark flashbacks and foreshadowings that stretch from the author?s childhood in what was then a Japanese colony to his later years as a dissident in South Korea. This gives the novel a rich texture of association in which the wartime story becomes a focal point for a broad vision of North and South Korea through half a century of history. Современная корейская литература 25 июня 1950 года Северная Корея напала на Южную. Началась Корейская война, в которой приняли участие войска ООН — шестнадцати государств, в том числе США. Сначала почти вся территория Южной Кореи была занята северокорейскими войсками. Однако некоторое время спустя войска ООН отбросили их назад. Более того, они заняли почти всю территорию Северной Кореи. Казалось, объединение страны неминуемо. Но 4 января 1951 года в Корейскую войну вступила двухмиллионная армия коммунистического Китая; войска ООН и южнокорейская армия вынуждены были отступить.
