Seo Jin-gyu (1948-) is a South Korean essayist. He shares messages of hope with people by sharing his life story of overcoming poverty and difficulties in childhood and creating his own life. Based in South Korea and the United States, he has published a number of essay collections.

서진규(1948~)는 한국의 수필가다. 작가는 어린 시절의 가난과 고통을 극복하고 자신만의 삶을 만들어가면서 사람들에게 희망의 메시지를 글로 공유하고 있다. 한국과 미국을 오가며 다수의 에세이를 출간했다.  


徐真闺(1948-)，韩国随笔作家。作家借作品分享了自己克服童年的贫困和痛苦，开拓人生的过程，为人们传递了希望的讯息。作家在往返韩美期间，创作了多部随笔作品。


随笔集《我想成为希望的象征》（《나는 희망의 증거가 되고 싶다》，1999）、

               《希望孕育了另一个希望》（《희망은 또 다른 희망을 낳는다》，2000）
