The work describes the difficult working conditions for ordinary workers and the discussions surrounding the revision of the labor law through the author’s sharp gaze. It is particularly interesting that the author shows a twist that accurately reverses the conventional power dynamics between a company executive and a part-time employee.

Korean(한국어) Printed/Published Work2012년에 출간된 장강명의 연작소설이다. 르·메이에르 3차 빌딩 8층에 살고 있는 사람들의 이야기로, 801호부터 810호까지 열 편의 이야기를 담고 있다. 각 작품은 독립적인 이야기로 구성되어 있으나 이야기들이 얽혀 하나의 원 형상을 그린다는 점에서 완전히 독립적인 것은 아니다. 대도시의 한 가운데 음울하게 살아가는 존재들을 기괴하고도 환상적으로 묘사하고 있다.
