Plot

A member of “Team Aleph,” an internet organization specializing in media manipulation, Chattatkat discloses to a newspaper reporter known as K about their role in rigging comment sections at the request of corporations and the National Intelligence Service. Realizing that Team Aleph has been involved in illegal public opinion manipulation led by the National Intelligence Service, the reporter begins to investigate the case.

This novel by Jang Kang Myoung, published in 2015, is the winner of the 3rd Jeju April 3 Peace Literature Award. Based on the real event of the NIS’ illegal election interference scandal, it depicts the social structure in which the virtual world brings unrest to the real world.

2015년에 출간된 장강명의 장편소설이다. 제3회 제주4.3. 평화문학상 수상작이다. 국정원의 불법선거개입이라는 사건을 모티프로 가상세계가 현실을 불안에 빠트리는 사회구조를 다뤘다.
