These stories depict the lives of several neighbors, all residents of apartments 801 through 810, which are located on the 8th floor of Building No. 3 in the Lumière complex in Sinchon. The characters include a runaway boy, a deaf person, a debtor, a novelist, a cat, a mouse, humans, and bizarre and fantastic creatures.

2012년에 출간된 장강명의 연작소설이다. 르·메이에르 3차 빌딩 8층에 살고 있는 사람들의 이야기로, 801호부터 810호까지 열 편의 이야기를 담고 있다. 각 작품은 독립적인 이야기로 구성되어 있으나 이야기들이 얽혀 하나의 원 형상을 그린다는 점에서 완전히 독립적인 것은 아니다. 대도시의 한 가운데 음울하게 살아가는 존재들을 기괴하고도 환상적으로 묘사하고 있다.

This collection of linked short stories by Chang Kang-myoung was published in 2012. It contains ten stories, each one forming a standalone work that is both independent of and interconnected with the others. Each story follows one of the bizarre and fantastic residents of apartments 801 through 810, which are located on the 8th floor of Building No. 3 in the Lumière complex, in the middle of a big city.
