Plot

The protagonist is sent on an assignment to country C by the pharmaceutical company he works for. Finding himself in a city where disease is rife and earthquakes are common, the protagonist makes his way to an apartment where he expects to reside throughout his stay. However, after carelessly losing his suitcase, he gradually becomes cut off from the rest of the world, and slides deeper into the corrupt and dangerous environment of this unfamiliar city.
