Plot

Yoon, Miru, Myungsuh, and Dahn go through death, loss, and separation that happen around them. As they live with the determination that living and remembering “today” is the most important, they wait for each other and mourn each other's absence.

This is a novel by Shin Kyung-sook, published in 2010. It was originally serialized online from the summer of 2009 to the winter of 2009, and it was published in the book form after revisions and additions. It depicts the love and parting of youth in a tragic age, and focuses on the new lives of characters who have undergone despair and setbacks. In particular, the author uses her uniquely detailed and delicate language to describe the sublimity of people awaiting and loving others.
