The contest was held for university students majoring in Korean Studies as well as the general readers in Siena, Naples, Venice, and Rome from March 1 to September 30, 2020. Participants were to read and write an essay on Park Min-gyu’s Pavane for a Dead Princess. Of the 17 participants, nine (one first prize, two second prize, two third prize winners, and four honorable mentions) received awards.
