The contest was held for the students of Indonesia University of Education and the general public in the local area from April to November 2020. Participants were to read and write an essay on Hangungmunhakseonjip (한국문학선집 Selected Works of Korean Literature), a collection of Korean literary works written by Pyun Hye Young and six other writers. Of the 223 participants, three (one winner each for the first, second, and third prizes) received awards.
