Lee Jong-kwan is the editor-in-chief of a criminal investigation magazine. He has expanded the realm of forensic investigation to include 'fine evidence', 'blood stain pattern analysis', and 'profiling'. In 2019, he published his mystery thriller novel   Hyeonjanggeomjeung (현장검증 Spot Investigation)
