Ill a mis l'accent dans ses textes sur les expressions du moi et sur l'introspection ; sa poésie se situe à la frontière d'une interprétation politique et d'une interprétation purement esthétique. Sa formation de plasticien lui a donné une capacité unique à brouiller les limites entre les images et les mots, ce qui lui permet d'explorer un nouveau terrain dans la poésie. Il a également acquis une certaine reconnaissance en tant que « producteur de livres », dans la mesure où ses activités vont de la poésie jusqu'à la traduction en passant par le roman. Il a conçu ainsi un grand nombre de fictions et de poésies mais aussi des traductions de l'anglais vers le coréen. Actuellement, il travaille en tant que rédacteur pour la revue Littérature du monde (Segye-ui Munhak) et en tant que concepteur-projeteur pour les Éditions Minumsa1.
Ses poèmes sont toujours fondés sur des situations ou des lieux spécifiques trouvés dans la réalité. Ainsi, le « je » dans sa poésie n'est pas un être isolé concerné uniquement par son paysage intérieur, mais un individu situé dans le monde réel avec le pouvoir de donner un nouveau sens à notre compréhension de la société1.
En 2006, il remporte le Prix de littérature contemporaine (Hyundae Munhak) pour Le garçon s'en va travers le champ de coton.
1962年11月25日、ソウルで生まれる。詩人であり、文学出版企画者でもある。1991年、季刊作家世界の春号に「パン工場に通る鉄道」の他８篇の詩を発表して文壇にデビューした。
1989年、民音社にデザイナーとして入社して代表理事(編集人)を勉める。出版企画者として民音社の『世界文学全集』と『ペンギンクラシック』シリーズを企劃して出版した。1990年代の始めには、出版デザインにも関わって『ボルヘス全集』『未堂徐廷柱全集』など、多数の表紙デザイン作業もした。
Park Sangsoon (born 1962) is a South Korean poet and publisher.
Life
Park Sangsoon was born in Seoul. He studied fine art painting at Seoul National University. He entered the literary publishing house Minumsa as an art director, eventually rising to editor-in-chief and CEO, where he oversaw the Minumsa World Literature series. He then joined the literary imprint Ppul of Woongjin Publishing, where he oversaw the Korean publication of Penguin Classics.
Park made his literary debut in 1991, publishing eight poems including "Ppanggongjangeuro tonghaneun cheoldo" (빵공장으로 통하는 철도 Railway to the Bread Factory) in the spring issue of the quarterly Writer’s World. His collections of poems include 6eun namu 7eun dolgorae (6은 나무 7은 돌고래 6 is a Tree, 7 is a Dolphin), Marana, poreuno manhwaui yeojuingong (마라나, 포르노 만화의 여주인공Marana, Heroine of Smut Comics), Love Adagio, and Seulpeungamja 200 geuraem (슬픈감자 200그램 200 Grams of Sad Potatoes). He is the recipient of the Contemporary Poets Group Award, the Hyundae Literary Award, the Hyundae Poetry Award, and the Midang Literary Award.
Writing
Park Sangsoon embarks on a new direction for Korean poetry with his avant-garde and exotic poems. Park is undoubtedly a modernist poet. He writes lyrical poems that pursue modernity. Park's poetry combines the two opposite values in a sophisticated way that reveals the unique personality of the poet. In any era, avant-garde artists present self-destructive works that deny the aesthetic criteria of their times. Park's poems always change. Within, outside, and in between poems, his poetry keeps changing its face. His works resist definition in any form. [1]
Park's poetic world aims at creating a perfect art form and seeks organic wholeness found in word combinations. He plays with the language in both sound and meaning in an artistic way. Once these words go into the world of language and join the play of words, the obtrusiveness in his poetry disappears. Then, only such moments that provide self-satisfactory and aesthetic pleasures remain. It means to play with poems, solve them, read them aloud, and enjoy them. Then the content becomes unimportant, and the readers are allowed to be immersed in the poetry itself and have a pleasurable or heartbreaking conversation with poetic narrators. [1]
Seulpeungamja 200 geuraem, composed in three parts, the poet uses experimental language to depict the shapeless and unmeasurable quality of human sorrow. In his latest collection, Bami, bami, bami (밤이, 밤이, 밤이 The Night, the night, the night), the poet uses original typography and portrait-like structure, his characteristic word endings and selection of unusual vocabulary with an emphasis on visual, rhythmic elements.

박상순(1962~)은 대한민국의 시인이자 문학출판 기획자다.
생애
박상순은 1962년 서울에서 태어났다. 서울대학교 미술대학 회화과(서양화)를 졸업했다. 1991년 계간지 《작가세계》 봄호에 〈빵공장으로 통하는 철도〉 외 8편의 시를 발표하면서 작품 활동을 시작했다. 1989년 출판사 민음사에 입사해 편집 주간 및 계간 《세계의 문학》 주간을 거쳐, 대표이사(편집인)를 지냈다. 출판 기획자로 작가는 “민음사 세계문학전집”과 한국어판 “펭귄클래식” 시리즈를 기획하여 출간했고, 도리스 레싱 등 노벨 문학상 수상 작가의 한국어판을 출판하는 등 백여 권에 이르는 국내외 작가들의 문학 작품을 기획하고 편집했다. 북 디자이너로 문학과 인문학 등 다양한 분야의 책을 디자인했다.
작품 세계
박상순은 독특한 개성과 그만의 리듬으로 시 세계를 구축해왔다. 초현실주의, 반리얼리즘, 포스트모더니즘, 해체주의 등의 수식어로 소개되어온 시인은 문학적인 변형을 거친 회화적인 구성방법과 전위적인 시적 상황을 구축해 세계를 그려왔다. 특히 시인은 소년 화자를 통해 불행을 짊어진 사람과 문제적인 존재를 작품의 주제로 삼아왔다.
《마라나, 포르노 만화의 여주인공》(1996)은 출간 당시 파격적이고 새롭고 신선한 구성과 장르적 복합 그리고 낯선 시적 상황으로 인해 주목을 받았다.
《슬픈 감자 200그램》(2017)는 총 3부로 구성된 시집이다. 작가는 시적 언어의 실험을 통해 인간의 형체 없고 무게를 잴 수 없는 슬픔과 울음을 그려내었다.
《밤이, 밤이, 밤이》(2018)에서 시인은 독특한 이미지들의 활자와 회화적 구조, 시인 특유의 경쾌한 어미 처리와 독특한 시어의 선택으로 회화적인 측면과 리듬적인 요소를 강조했다.
