Lee Sunyoung is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 2010 when her work Cheon nyeonui chimmuk (천 년의 침묵 A Thousand Years of Silence), set in ancient Greece, won the Korea New Wave Literature Award. Lee’s novels delicately deal with a wide range of themes including ancient history, human betrayal, and guilt.

이선영은 한국의 소설가다. 2010년 고대 그리스를 배경을 한 장편<천 년의 침묵>으로 대한민국뉴웨이브문학상을 수상하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 고대 역사와 인간의 배신과 죄의식 등을 섬세하게 다루는 등 다양한 주제를 소설로 발표하고 있다.  


李善英，韩国小说家。2010年以古希腊为背景的长篇小说《千年的沉默》（《천 년의 침묵》）获大韩民国新浪潮文学奖后，开始作品创作活动。其小说风格细腻，题材多样，多以古代历史以及人类的背叛和罪意识为主题。
