Lee Chang-rae (1965-) is a South Korean-American novelist who immigrated to the United States at the age of three. In 1995, Lee debuted as a writer with the novel Native Speaker, which deals with the outsider-like life of a Korean-American who has been embroiled in espionage. The work won Lee the PEN/Hemingway Award and the American Book Award, among four others.

이창래(1965~)는 한국계 미국인 소설가다. 3살 때 가족과 함께 미국으로 이민 갔다. 1995년 첩보 활동에 연루된 한구계 미국인의 아웃사이더 같은 삶을 다룬 《Native Speaker》로 작품 활동을 시작했다. 이 작품으로 펜 헤밍웨이상, 아메리칸북상 등 미국의 6개 주요 상을 수상했다. 


李昌来(1965-)，美籍韩裔小说家。3岁时和家人一起移民美国。1995年推出了以卷入间谍战的非主流美籍韩裔的人生为题材的作品——《永远的异乡人》（《Native Speaker》），从此开始创作活动。该作品获得了海明威奖、美国图书奖等6项美国主要图书奖。
