    This is an introductory booklet on Park Wansuh, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. The author was unable to attend the events due to personal reasons 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair. As one of the 12 Masters of Korean Literature, she was introduced at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion—with a large photograph and a list of her major works and translated titles. This 29-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of Mother’s Stake’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by literary scholar Kim Seung-min, and translated by Sonja Häussler. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Her work is included in the collection of Korean short stories published by Suhrkamp in 2005.

Yi Mun-yol participated in literary events in Leipzig and Dresden (March), and at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion, Frankfurt House of Literature, Frankfurt International School, Bad Berleburg, and Nuremberg (October). The German translation of Our Twisted Hero was published in 1999.

His work ‘Southerners, Northerners’ was included in his short story collection of the same title published in German in 2002.

    This is an introductory booklet on novelist Yi Mun-yol, produced for the 2014 London Book Fair Korea Market Focus. On April 9, Yi Mun-yol participate in the literary event “Korean Literature: Past and Present” at the British Library. On April 9, in Whitehall Room, he discussed how myth, allegory and fable illustrated and transformed literary imagination, history and society. On April 10, in PEN Salon (Earls Court Exhibition Centre), he talked about his literature with a focus on his works The Son of Man and Our Twisted Hero. This 20-page booklet consists of: “About the Author”, “About the Work” and “Excerpts”.

The material was put together and analyzed by Cha Mi-ryeong, and translated by Kang Yeo-Kyu. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Choe Yun participated in literary events in Cologne and Düsseldorf in April, and at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion and Matthäuskirche in October. The German translation of ‘There a Petal Silently Falls’ was published along with her other short stories inn 2003.

    This is an introductory booklet on novelist Yi Mun-yol, produced for literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and a nearby university Guadalajara International Book Fair. Between November 30 and December 4, Yi Mun-yol participated in literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and the University of Guadalajara—where he introduced his work The Golden Phoenix. The events were organized directly by Bonobos, the publisher of the Spanish translation of The Golden Phoenix. From March to December, 2013, students at University of Guadalajara were invited to participate in a Korean literature essay contest, and Yi Mun-yol attended the award ceremony on December 2. In addition, he participated in the program “The Modern Development of East Asian Writing with Focus on Korean Literature”. Yi was interviewed by three journalists: Erick Ampersand, Marcel Ventura, and Marcos Dniel. This 43-page booklet consists of: “About the Author’s Literary World”, “About the Work”, “Excerpt”, “Essay”, “Biography” and “Bibliography”.
