This is an introductory booklet on Kim Young-ha, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. Kim Young-ha participated in literary events in March and the main program in October. This 21-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of I Have the Right to Destroy Myself’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by Kim Dong-shik, and translated by Kang Kyung-ah. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Kim Young-ha participated in literary events in Leipzig and Weimar in March and then at Frankfurt House of Literature, Mousonturm and Cologne House of Literature in October. The German translation of I Have the Right to Destroy Myself (German title: Sterbehelfer) was published in Germany in 2013.

This is an introductory booklet on Park Wansuh, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. The author was unable to attend the events due to personal reasons 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair. As one of the 12 Masters of Korean Literature, she was introduced at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion—with a large photograph and a list of her major works and translated titles. This 29-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of Mother’s Stake’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by literary scholar Kim Seung-min, and translated by Sonja Häussler. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Her work is included in the collection of Korean short stories published by Suhrkamp in 2005.

OH JUNGHEE participated in literary events in Munich and Wien (June), Frankfurt House of Literature, Bad Berleburg, and Bad Homburg (October). As one of the 12 Masters of Korean Literature, she was introduced at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion—with a large photograph and a list of her major works and translated titles.

The 23-page information booklet consists of three sections: “About the Author,” “World of Works,” and “Excerpts.” It includes excerpts of Kim’s works, such as Your Republic is Calling You and Quiz Show.

This is an introductory booklet on novelist Kim Young-ha, produced for literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and a nearby university—held between November 25 and December 4. Kim Young-ha participated in literary events at University of Guadalajara (November 27) and Autonomous University of Nayarit (November 28) where he introduced his short story “Move”. In addition, he interacted with short story writers from other parts of the world at Salón 3 (FIL event hall). From March to December, 2012, students at Autonomous University of Nayarit were invited to participate in a Korean literature essay contest, and Kim Young-ha attended the award ceremony on November 28. In addition, he was interviewed by five journalists including Mireya Espinosa, Marcel Ventura, and Silvina Friera and appeared on the radio program “Radio Nacional de Chile”. This is an introductory booklet on novelist Kim Young-ha, produced for literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and a nearby university. Between November 25 and December 2, Kim Young-ha participated in literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and University of Guadalajara, where he introduced his work I Have the Right to Destroy Myself, discussed his writing career (“Things That Shaped Me into a Writer”), engaged in discussion with literary researchers and answered questions from readers. In addition, he visited Instituto Alberici where he gave a joint reading with students and discussed his novel. He was interviewed by the local media outlets Milenio and Mural about I Have the Right to Destroy Myself and Spanish translations of Korean literary works. This is an introductory booklet on novelist Kim Young-ha produced for the 2014 London Book Fair Korea Market Focus. On April 8, in PEN Salon, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, he read from and introduced his work Diary of a Murderer, and shared a conversation with Krys Lee about his life and literature as well as the future of Korean literature. In addition, he participated in the literary seminar “Writing Home: Migrant Literature” (April 9, Whitehall Room), where he discussed how national and personal identity endured in foreign and faraway lands, and explored Korea’s relationship with the rest of the world through literary portrayals of Korean emigrants. The event “In Conversation with Kim Young-ha” held on April 11 at London Review Bookshop offered a chance to understand his literary world, film adaptations, Korea’s history and culture reflected in his works. This 50-page booklet consists of: “About the Author”, “About the Work” and “Excerpts”. This is an introductory booklet on novelist Kim Young-ha, produced for the Taipei International Book Exhibition Korea Guest of Honor Program. Kim Young-ha was one of the five Korean writers who participated in the Guest of Honor Program. He was selected as a delegate for the purpose of promoting his four titles published in Taiwan. The Korea Guest of Honor Program was co-organized by the Literature Translation of Korea, the Korean Publishers Association, and Taipei Book Fair Foundation. This 20-page booklet consists of: “About the Author”, “Review”, “Excerpts”, and “Bibliography”. Professor Choi Malsoon from National Chengchi University wrote the review. Kim Young-ha’s novel Diary of a Murderer, introduced in the booklet, was published in Taiwan in 2018.
