    This is an introductory booklet on Park Wansuh, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. The author was unable to attend the events due to personal reasons 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair. As one of the 12 Masters of Korean Literature, she was introduced at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion—with a large photograph and a list of her major works and translated titles. This 29-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of Mother’s Stake’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by literary scholar Kim Seung-min, and translated by Sonja Häussler. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Her work is included in the collection of Korean short stories published by Suhrkamp in 2005.

The material was put together and analyzed by Park Jeong-joon, and translated by Kim In-gyeom. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Seo Jeong-in participated in literary events in Hamburg (May), and at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion and Leipzig House of the Book (October). As one of the 12 Masters of Korean Literature, he was introduced at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion—with a large photograph and a list of his major works and translated titles. His work ‘Homecoming’ is included in the collection of Korean short stories published by dtv (2005).

    This is the audio file of the fifth session of “One on One,” the main event of the Seoul International Writers’ Festival 2019. The session was held at Crea, on the second floor of the DDP Design Lab, on October 9, 2019. The session was conducted as a conversation between one Korean writer and one foreign writer, and it was attended by an audience of 55 people. Participating Korean and foreign writers held a discussion under the theme of “Poetry and Life".

The material was put together and analyzed by the literary critic Lee Gwang-ho, and translated by Yoon Il-sook. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. The booklet contains seven poems including ‘The Island’ translated into German. He attended literary events in Leipzig, Jena (March), Berlin (September) and at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion, the Frankfurt House of Literature, and the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt (FFF) in October. The German translation of his poetry collection The Island was published in 1996.

The author participated in the main program in October and literary events in March, April and September. This 25-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Poetry Excerpts’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by the literary critic Shin Hyung-cheol, and translated by Kang Yeo-Kyu. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. The booklet contains eight poems including ‘37’ translated in German. Hwang Ji-u participated in literary events in Leipzig (March, Leipzig Book Fair), Düsseldorf (April), Berlin (September), Frankfurt House of Literature and Romanfabrik (October). Several of his works have been published in German including: One Day I Will Sit in a Dimly-Lit Bar (2003) and The Shadow of the Fish (2006).
