1728년 조선후기 시조작가 김천택이 시조580수를 엮어 만든 가집(歌集)이다. <해동가요>, <가곡원류>와 함께 3대 시조집으로 불리어진다. 지금까지 전해지는 가장 오래된 시조집으로 문학사적 가치가 크다.

This collection of Korean verse consists of 580 sijo written by Kim Cheontaek in 1728. It is considered one of the three major Joseon-era poetry collections, along with Haedonggayo and Gagogwonlyu. It is the oldest extant book of poetry in Korea.
