1999년에 출간된 강제규의 장편영화소설이다. 같은 해 영화로 만들어진 것을 소설로 묶었다. 작품은 비밀정보요뤈들의 대결을 다룬다. '쉬리'는 특수 8군단이 통일작전 명령으로, 이 작전을 수행하는 요원들의 대결과 희생을 그리고 있다.

Published in 1999, this is a novel by Kang Je-gyu, who also directed the movie version of Shiri released in the same year. An elite group of North Korean soldiers infiltrate Seoul, but their mission becomes thwarted by special national security agents of South Korea.
