2009년에 출간된 김연수의 소설집이다. 2005년 봄부터 2009년 여름까지 발표한 단편들을 묶어서 출간한 것이다. 표제작을 비롯하여 <기억할 만한 지나침>, <당신들 모두 서른 살이 되었을 때>, <달로 간 코미디언> 등 모두 9편의 작품이 수록되어 있다. 작가는 미세하게 무너지고 균열을 일으키는 인간의 일상과 세계에 주목하고 그 세계 속에 존재하는 사람들의 이야기를 담아내고 있다.
