1980년에 출간된 이성복 시인의 첫 시집이다. 현실에 대한 냉소와 형식 파괴로 인해 '혁명적'인 시라는 평가를 받는다. 지극히 개인적은 소재를 사용하면서도 보편성을 획득하고 있다. 시인은 개인이 경험하는 삶의 고통을 보편적인 삶으로 확대하며 원초적인 싸움을 이어나간다. 1982년 제2회 김수영 문학상을 수상하였다.

Published in 1980, this is the first collection of Yi Song-bok’s poems. Critics described this collection as “revolutionary” for the poet’s cynicism and disregard for poetic structure. The poet brings out the pain he has experienced in his own life and expands it by endowing it with a sense of universality as he continues the primordial battle of life; his poetry is personal yet universal. He received the second Kim Soo-young Literary Award in 1982.
