2009년에 출간된 김형영의 여덟 번째 시집이다. 표제시인 <나무 안에서>를 포함하여 46편의 시가 4부로 나뉘어 수록되어 있다. 시인이 서울의 관악산에서 머물며 자연에서 얻은 경험을 시로 형상화하였다. 내면과 외부 세계가 교호하는 순간을 응축되고 담백한 시어로 표현하고 있다.

Published in 2009 and divided into four parts, this eighth collection by Kim Hyung-young introduces 46 of his poems in which the poet shares his experiences living on Gwanak Mountain in Seoul. In simple language, he brings to readers the compressed moments when exterior reality meets and interacts with our interior world.
