2006년에 출간된 황동규 시인의 열세 번째 시집이다. 68편의 시가 4부에 나뉘어 수록되어 있다. 이 시집은 무엇인가가 의미화되기 이전에 생기게 되는 마음의 공명을 포착하여 시로 형상화한다. 황동규는 '변모의 시인', '거듭남의 미학'으로 평가받아오며 이전 시의 주제를 계승, 발전시키는 양상을 보여왔으나, 이 시집에서는 계승이 아닌 새로운 시도를 보여준다는 점에서 의미를 갖는다.

Published in 2006 and divided into four parts, this thirteenth collection by Hwang Tong-gyu introduces 68 of his poems. In the poems, the poet captures cognitive resonance before it expands into full meaning. Known as “the poet of transformation,” Hwang constantly reinvents himself and his poetic aesthetics by expanding and developing the themes and ideas in his poems, and in this collection, he doesn’t stop at simply expanding his ideas; he presents them in a different, experimental poetic language.
