1972년 만수대예술단에 의해 만들어진 혁명가극이다. 1977년 동명의 제목으로 영화로도 만들어졌다. 혁명가극<꽃파는 처녀>는 꽃분이 일가와 지주와의 계급적 갈등을 중심으로 서경, 7장, 종장으로 구성되었다. 내용은 가난하고 순박한 꽃분이가 어머니의 병을 고치기 위해 온갖 천대와 모욕을 받다가 현실을 깨닫고 혁명의 길로 나서게 된다는 것이다.

The Flower Girl was one of revolutionary operas performed by Mansudae Art Troupe in North Korea in 1972, and its film adaptation was released in 1977. This story about the main character, Kkotbun, and her family, and their class struggle against the landlord and his family, is told in seven acts with a prologue and an epilogue. Kkotbun is a girl who picks flowers every day to sell at the market in order to care for her ill mother. She suffers harassment from the evil landlord and his family, and she becomes a revolutionary with her brother.
