This is the fourth poetry anthology by poet Hwang Ji-U, published in 1990. It contains 68 poems including “Gil (Road),” “Jip (Home),” “12wol (December,” and “Neoreul gidarineun dongane (While waiting for you).” This anthology reveals the  poet’s orientation toward Buddhist poetry that has surfaced in his works since the 1980s. The poems in this anthology deals with the gap and conflicts between reality and transcendence, and strives to reach the world of harmony as a way to resolve the conflicts. The lotus flower that blossoms in the world of pain, anger, fighting, and conflict erases the boundary between the two worlds of reality and transcendence, ultimately revealing a beautiful and pure world.
