This is the fourth poetry anthology by poet Hwang Ji-U, published in 1990. It contains 68 poems including “Gil (Road),” “Jip (Home),” “12wol (December,” and “Neoreul gidarineun dongane (While waiting for you).” This anthology reveals the  poet’s orientation toward Buddhist poetry that has surfaced in his works since the 1980s. The poems in this anthology deals with the gap and conflicts between reality and transcendence, and strives to reach the world of harmony as a way to resolve the conflicts. The lotus flower that blossoms in the world of pain, anger, fighting, and conflict erases the boundary between the two worlds of reality and transcendence, ultimately revealing a beautiful and pure world.

1990년에 출간된 시인 황지우의 네 번째 시집이다. 〈길〉, 〈집〉, 〈12월〉, 〈너를 기다리는 동안〉 등 68편의 시가 수록되어 있다. 1980년대 이후 보이기 시작한 불교적 시 경향을 잘 드러내는 시집이다. 시집은 현실과 초월 사이의 간극과 갈등을 다루며, 그 갈등을 해소하는 방법으로써 화엄의 세계를 지향한다. 아픔과 분노, 싸움과 갈등의 세계에 피워올린 연꽃은 현실과 초월이라는 두 세계의 경계를 지우며 아름답고 순수한 세계를 드러낸다.
