2015년에 출간된 권정생의 그림동화다. '평화그림책' 시리즈 제10권이다. 작품은 저자가 초등학교 때 경험한 전쟁을 바탕으로 쓴 시에 그림을 엮어 만들었다. 전쟁의 참혹함과 미래에 대한 기대가 담겨져 있다.

This picture book by Kwon Jeong-saeng was published in 2015 as the tenth book in the War and Peace Picture Books Series. The writer wrote the poems in Corn based on his own experience of the Korean War when he was only a student in elementary school. The book deals with the atrocity of war and hope for a better future.
