The contest was held from September 1 to November 20, 2020 at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Participants were to read and write an essay on Heo Kyun’s The Story of Hong Gildong. Of the 34 participants, 13 (first, second, and third prize winners in the high school student, college student, and general readers categories, and five honorable mentions) received awards.
