The 2019 Seoul International Writers’ Festival took place on October 5~13, 2019 in Seoul’s DDP. Under the theme “Thousands of Mirrors Reflecting Us”, the festival highlighted the amazing power of the world and language, life and literature, and the multilayered harmony created by writers and readers. The festival invited eighteen Korean writers and fourteen overseas writers from twelve countries. The nine-day long festival presented twenty-five sessions under the four main programs—Novel/Poetry Readings, One on One, Writers in Conversation, and A Writer’s Room.

2019년 10월 5일부터 13일까지 서울 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)에서 개최했다. <2019 서울국제작가축제>는 '우리를 비추는 천 개의 거울'을 주제로 정하여 세계와 언어, 삶과 문학, 세계와 언어, 삶과 문학, 작가와 독자가 이루는 다층적인 조음과 그로부터 발생하는 놀라운 힘들에 주목하고자 했다. 올해에는 해외 12개국 14명의 작가와 한국 작가 18명이 한 자리에서 만났다. 축제는 총 9일 동안 DDP 전역에서 펼쳐지며, ▲소설/시 듣는 시간 ▲작가, 마주보다 ▲작가들의 수다 ▲작가의 방 등 4가지 메인 프로그램 아래 총 25회의 공식 행사가 마련되었다.
