Michelle Zauner is best known as a singer and guitarist who performs under the name Japanese Breakfast. She has won acclaim from major music outlets around the world for releases like Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds from Another Planet (2017). Her most recent album, Jubilee (2021), earned two GRAMMY nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album. 


Her first book, Crying in H Mart, an unflinching, powerful memoir about growing up Korean-American, losing her mother, and forging her own identity, is a runaway #1 New York Times Best Seller.

인디 록 밴드 재패니즈 브렉퍼스트의 보컬이자 기타리스트로 잘 알려져 있다. 두 앨범 〈저승사자〉(2016)와 〈다른 행성에서 들려온 부드러운 소리〉(2017)로 전 세계 주요 음악 매체로부터 찬사를 받았으며, 가장 최신작인 정규 3집 〈주빌리〉(2021)는 그래미 어워즈 두 개 부문(최우수 신인상 및 최우수 얼터너티브 음악 앨범상) 후보에 오르는 쾌거를 이루었다.
