Kim Bo-yong (1975-) is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 2004 when her novella Chokgagui gyeongheom (촉각의 경험 The Experience of Touch) won the 1st Korean Science and Technology Creative Writing Awards for best novella. In addition to novels, Kim is considered to have led the direction of science fiction novels while working in various other fields, including writing screenplays. She captures human conflict, revenge, and confrontation in the form of science fiction novels. 김보영(1975~)은 한국의 소설가다. 2004년 제1회 과학기술 창작문예공모전 중편소설 부문에<촉각의 경험>이 당선되며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 작품을 쓰는 것 외에도 시나리오를 기획하는 등 다양한 일을 하며 SF소설의 방향을 주도해왔다고 평가받는다. 작가는 인간의 갈등과 복수, 대립 등을 SF소설의 형식에 담아 내고 있다. 단독 작품 외에도 다수의 작가들과 공동작품집도 출간해왔다. 

Kim Bo-Young est l'un des auteurs de science-fiction les plus actifs de Corée du Sud. Avant de se consacrer à l'écriture, Kim a travaillé comme développeur de jeux, scénariste et concepteur graphique au sein de l'entreprise Garam & Baram Corp.
