Jung Mok-il (1945-) is a South Korean essayist. He began his literary career when his essay was published in Wolgan Munhak in 1975 and another essay was recommended through the literary journal Hyundae Munhak in 1976. As the first writer who made his literary debut with essays, he continues to publish works that provide comfort and insight into life.

정목일(1945~)은 한국의 수필가다. 1975년 <월간 문학> 수필 당선, 1976년 <현대문학>에 수필이 추천되며 작품활동을 시작했다. 

최초로 수필 당선을 통해 문단에 데뷔한 작가로 지속적으로 삶을 통찰하고 위로하는 글을 발표하고 있다.    


郑木日(1945-)，韩国随笔作家。1975年在《月刊文学》刊登随笔作品。1976年作品受《现代文学》推荐后，正式投身创作活动。作为首批通过随笔步入文坛的作家，他一直在创作剖析人生，并给人以安慰的作品。


诗集《想在世上唱的歌》（《지상에서 부르고 싶은 노래》，1993）、《碰触白花的时间》（《흰꽃 만지는 시간》，2017）
