Woo Hanyong (1948~) is a South Korean novelist. Woo debuted as a writer by publishing his short story “Gosamokjidae” (고사목지대 Dead Wood Area) in the journal Wolganmunhak.  His works deal with important issues surrounding human life such as destruction of nature, environmental crisis, violence and terrorism, slavery and the slave trade, imperialism, and the lives of the oppressed people.

우한용(1948~)은 한국의 소설가다. '월간 문학' 신인상에 단편소설 '고사목지대'로 등단했다. 작가는 자연 훼손과 환경 파괴, 폭력과 테러, 노예제도와 노예무역, 제국주의, 억압을 받는 민중들의 삶에 대한 관심을 반영하여 이들을 작품의 주제로 삼는 등 인간의 삶을 둘러싼 긴요한 이슈들을 작품에서 다루고 있다. 


禹汉镕(1948-),韩国小说家。短篇小说《枯木地带》(《고사목지대》)获《月刊文学》新人奖后,开始投身创作工作。作家十分关注自然环境的污染、暴力恐怖活动、奴隶制度和奴隶贸易以及帝国主义压迫下的民生问题,并以这些贯穿人类生活的重要问题作为作品的主题。
