Cô sinh ra ở Busan và học ngành Mĩ thuật công nghiệp tại đại học Seoul, hiện đang làm công việc sáng tác truyện tranh, vẽ tranh minh họa cho các cuốn sách, tạp chí, quảng cáo.

Cô là tác giả khách mời tại Triển lãm sách Quốc tế (2007), được bình chọn là Họa sĩ tranh minh họa của năm tại Triễn lãm sách thiếu nhi Quốc tế Bologna (2005), đoạt giải trong cuộc thi Sáng tác truyện tranh Boram (2000) và Triễn lãm tranh minh họa Châu Á (2002).

Cô có một số tác phẩm được in trong sách giáo khoa lớp 1 của Hàn Quốc.

Choi Sook Hee (1964~) is a South Korean picture book writer. Her career as an illustrator began in 1993. Choi received an honourable mention at the 1st Borim Picture Book Contest for her work “Nugu geurimjailkka?” (누구 그림자일까? Whose Shadow Is It?). Her works are highly regarded for their vivid colors, endearing characters, and excellent illustrations.

최숙희(1964~)는 한국의 그림책 작가다. 1993년부터 일러스트레이터로서의 활동을 시작하였으며, 동화 《누구 그림자일까?》로 제1회 보림 창작그림책공모전 가작을 수상했다. 선명한 색감과 귀여운 캐릭터, 깔끔하고 완성도 높은 그림으로 높은 평가를 받는다.


崔琡僖(1964-)，韩国绘本作家。从1993年起开始从事插画创作。童话作品《是谁的影子？》(《누구 그림자일까?》)曾获第1届Borim创作绘本大奖赛佳作奖。作家创作了许多色彩鲜明、人物可爱、风格简洁的高水平绘本，备受大众的好评。
