Lee Miae (1964- ) is a South Korean children’s author. She began her career in 1987 when her children’s poem “Gulleongsoe” (굴렁쇠 Hoop) won the Chosun Ilbo New Writer’s Contest. She presents modern reinterpretations of takes for younger readers, telling stories of family and daily life. In 1994, she won the Nunnopiadong Literary Prize and the Saebeot Literary Prize. Her poetry collection Ggumeul chaja han geoleumssik (꿈을 찾아 한 걸음씩 Taking One Step after Another towards Your Dream) won the Samsung Literary Prize in the full-length children’s fiction category.

이미애(1964~)는 한국의 아동문학가다. 1987년 조선일보 신춘문예에 동시 <굴렁쇠>가 당선되어 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 아이들에게 옛이야기를 현대적으로 해석해서 들려주고 가족과 일상에 관한 다양한 이야기를 들려주고 있다. 1994년 동시로 ‘눈높이아동문학상’과 ‘새벗문학상’을 받았고, 장편동화<꿈을 찾아 한 걸음씩>으로 장편동화부문 삼성문학상을 받았다.

李美爱(1964-)，韩国儿童文学作家。1987年童诗《滚铁环》（《굴렁쇠》）入选《朝鲜日报》新春文艺，从此开始创作活动。作家采用现代技法，借古典为孩子们诠释了有关家人和日常的各种故事。1994年童诗作品获《因材施教》儿童文学奖和《新朋友》文学奖。长篇作品《步步追梦》（《꿈을 찾아 한 걸음씩》）获三星文学长篇童话奖。作品集《为找绣花鞋把家翻了个底朝天》（《꽃신 찾아 우리집 한 바퀴》，2014）、《魔法衣柜》（《마법의 옷장》，2015）
