This is an introductory booklet on Kim Yeonsu, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. Kim Yeonsu participated in literary events in March, April, May and September, and then in the main program in October. This 21-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of End of the Sky and Corner of the Earth’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by Lee Kyung-hoon, and translated by Elke Golchert-Jung. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Kim Yeonsu participated in literary events in Hamburg and Bremen in May, and then at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion and in Hofheim and Kiel in October.

The German translation of her work A Gift from a Bird was published in 2005.

This is an introductory booklet on novelist PYUN HYE YOUNG, produced for literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and a nearby university. Between November 25 and December 2, PYUN HYE YOUNG participated in literary events at the Guadalajara International Book Fair and University of Guadalajara, where she discussed her writing (“About My Writing”), engaged in discussion with literary researchers and answered questions from readers. She was interviewed by the local media outlets Milenio and Mural about her work “Evening Courtship”. This 51-page booklet consists of: “Greetings”, “Author’s Literary World”, “About the Work”, “Story”, “Essay”, “Voices of the Author and Critics”, “Biography” and “Bibliography”.
