Han Kang, winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize, came in to the Granta and Portobello offices to help design the paperback cover for Human Acts. Šukytės knygų rekomendacijos: kruvini įvykiai Pietų Korėjoje, paslaptingai įsiurbiantis miestas ir Kauno modernizmasLithuanian(Lietuvių kalba) Others
LRT / September 12, 2021
Su knygomis turiu įdomų santykį. Pirmoji, perskaityta penkerių, prisigėrė ašarų, mat nebuvo taip lengva mokytis jungti skiemenis. Vidurinėje mokykloje laimėjau vasaros skaitymo konkursą už daugiausia perskaitytų knygų, o paskutiniais gimnazijos metais atradau prarastąją kartą ir vokiečių bei prancūzų autorius. Tiesa, paskui prasidėjo dailėtyros studijos ir teko visiškai pasinerti į akademinę literatūrą. Nors studijuodama šešerius metus, galiu pripažinti, daug išmokau apie dailę, architektūrą, fotografiją ir kiną, mano ryšys su grožine literatūra beveik išnyko.

20 Must-Read Historical Fiction Books Set in KoreaEnglish(English) Others
Book Riot / December 15, 2023
The Korean Wave has exploded in popularity in recent years. It’s evident in K-pop, K-drama, and webtoons, all of which originated in South Korea. The Korean Wave is stronger than ever in many countries, particularly in mine, which is only a few hours away from Seoul. K-pop concerts are held on occasion, and there are even Korean barbecue restaurants on almost every corner (samgyeopsal is to die for). This phenomenon is not going away soon, either. Everything Korean these days seems in high demand, even in various storytelling formats such as comics and books. The boom of K-drama-inspired novels has made it to romance publishing and beyond.
