1999년에 출간된 안정효의 소설집이다. 표제작을 비롯하여 <만남의 조합>(연작)등 모두 4편이 수록되어 있다. 작품은 난해한 현실에서 살아가는 현대인의 욕망과 화해를 다루고 있다. 사랑한다는 착각을 하는 주인공, 숫자로 표현되는 사람들 등 삶의 불가해함 속에서 저마다의 방편을 만들어가는 인물들을 그려내고 있다.

Published in 1999, Illusion is a collection of stories by Ahn Junghyo. It contains four stories in total, including the title story and the series “A Combination of Encounters.” 
The stories deal with the themes of modern desire and reconciliation between people who lead difficult lives. Like the protagonist who mistakenly believes they’re in love, or the people who are expressed as numbers, the characters make their own way in a reality that is difficult to comprehend.
