Plot
The life of Im Kkeok-jeong, a butcher-turned-outlaw in mid-Joseon dynasty, is told in five sections: Bongdan, Tanner, Yangban, Blood Brothers, and Outlaws. Starting with the birth of Im Kkeok-jeong, it tells the stories of his fellow outlaws, his activities after forming a group of righteous outlaws, and his arrest and death.
