2005년에 출간된 공선옥의 연작소설집이다. 출간 전, 2002년 봄부터 2003년 봄까지 계간지<실천문학>에 연재했고 이후 2년 동안 수정을 거쳤다. 소설집에는 <겨울의 정취>, <가리봉 연가>, <그들의 웃음소리>, <남쪽 나라, 푸른 나라>, <먼 바다>등 총 5편의 단편이 수록되어 있고, 이들이 모여 '유랑가족'이라는 의미를 형성한다. 작가는 현실세계의 권력 궤도 속으로 편입하지 못한 사람들의 삶의 방식으로 '유랑'을 설정했고 이는 가난의 다른 이름이기도 하다.

Published in 2005, this short story collection by Gong Sun-ok includes five of  her stories: “The Scene of Winter,” “The Song of Garibong,” “The Sound of Their Laughter,” “The Southern Country, the Green Country,” and “The Distant Sea.” The stories were previously serialized in the magazine Literature in Action for one year, beginning with spring 2002. The characters, whom the writer calls “the nomad families,” are forced by society and poverty to wander around, unable to find their place in the world, and this wandering is the only connecting theme in the stories.
