Published in 2008, this second collection by Jin Eun-young introduces 48 of her poems including the title poem “We, Day by Day.” In simple, sparing language, the writer subverts familiar and usual images to create powerful sensory experiences in her poems. Her contemplations on things undefined, language, and symbols lead her to seek truth in her poetry by employing metaphors that leave an inedible impression on readers.
